The Rutgers University Debate Union (RUDU) will be a key component of the upcoming Rutgers Day 2011 on Saturday, April 30th, at Brower Commons on the College Avenue campus.
With four formal 45-minute debates on topics ranging from gender-neutral housing at Rutgers to foreign policy in the Middle East, Rutgers debaters will be featured in their element and accept floor speeches and commentary from the audience. Rutgers Day draws over 50,000 people to the New Brunswick campus each year, meaning that these debates are likely to be some of the most well-attended in the Union’s history.
If you’ve been meaning to see the Debate Union in action, make sure to schedule some time at Rutgers Day to see these dynamic and lively debates. Up to sixteen members of the Union will be participating throughout the afternoon.
