Rutgers Breaks at Princeton, Three More Teams Bubble

The Rutgers University Debate Union (RUDU) continued its pattern of breaking at tournaments with the fourth straight competitive weekend of making the elimination rounds. This weekend’s tournament was down Route One at Princeton and Rutgers had four teams in bubble rounds, with two of them hybrids pitted against each other.

Here are the official results from the tournament:
Ashley Novak & Ashley Woods [Northeastern University] – 11th Team
Russell Potter – 9th Novice Speaker

This weekend will feature the tournament at West Point, where Rutgers won the novice division last year.

Rutgers remains ranked 8th in the nation this season with 7 weeks left before the National Championships.
